Immersive dining is a way of enhancing a dining experience for guests by engaging them with more multi sensory experiences, going beyond just the food or the setting. It focuses on creating a unique and immersive experience for diners whilst combining elements of entertainment, technology and storytelling.

At The Murdér Express, not only are we an award-winning immersive theatrical dining experience in London, our 4-course bespoke menu is crafted for your journey by our highly acclaimed Chef Partner. Handcrafted cocktails are also served onboard to tantalise our guests as we unravel our gripping murder mysteries.
How does immersive dining work at The Murdér Express?
During your experience, we combine elements of theatre and storytelling all set in a 1920’s themed venue to create a multi-sensory experience for all of our passengers.
You are immersed in our world, 1920’s fictional Pedley Street Station. As our guest, you become a part of the story, engaging with our talented cast and fellow diners. The result? A fully immersive and multi-sensory experience that will stay with you long after your visit.
While we encourage interaction with the story, it’s not mandatory. You won’t be pulled out of your seat to perform unless you want to. We are proud of the shows we create; a strong storytelling aspect is key to our experience which have natural intervals to make way for our delicious food serving.

How long do immersive dinners typically last?
Typically, immersive dinners can range anywhere from 60 minutes or more. This is dependent on the number of courses and interactive elements involved.
Here at The Murdér Express, our experience is 2 hours in duration from the time the doors open, which then gives you access to the platform bar where you can enjoy some of the finest cocktails in the city and take in your surroundings before you board our luxury dining carriage where you will travel to the fictional French town of Murdér. Please note, the train doesn’t actually move, the windows of the trains however allude to the train moving!
